it is supposed to be under 100 degrees on friday and saturday
i have a Bob Naess vickers 54r conversion that i need to test out. it will take some time to get the fusee spring adjusted correctly for this so im thinking about going out early saturday to mess with it and see if i can get it to run
My 1919 is also still dirty and its setup in 762x39 right now so we might as well heat that up too
anybody that is interested in shooting for a few hours saturday morning, i should be at the hubcap spot @ 8 am
hope to see some of you guys there Mike

Dang good thing that only Tom came out - i broke EVERYTHING today LOL the 1919 broke the extractor spring and shut me down in less than 20 rounds of 762x39 also broke a few proprietary links the Bob Naess 54r vickers conversion refused to work at all. The extractor needs to be opened up a bit so it slides on the lock freely and my Polaris quad / ATV broke today - quit driving forwards or reverse shame it was such a beautiful day too!! i put the vickers back into .303 and shot up my last 60 rounds of paki crappy .303 cordite ammo through the vicky though. i fealt like seeing her run off the Sokolov wheeled mount today www.youtube.com/watch?v=4X6u32wYfGEmaybe next time
