Tony, Can you provide any info on what the Gun Store offers for CCW Renewals? Mine is coming up in a few months and I am looking for a source. I know there are a few others in the same boat.
Thanks,
Rick

Renewal classes are done every Wed and Sat 0900 hrs to about 1400 hrs. Cost I think is $40.00 for class and one gun. It is $25.00 for each additional gun. We provide the ammo. Law has changed this year. You can shoot one revolver and carry any revolver or derringer. You still must shoot each Semi. You must Pre qualify if you attend the Sat class as it is too busy that day to shoot. I would recommend to Pre qualify anyway this way if you take the Wed class you will have enough time to go to METRO and turn your paperwork in the same day and get it over with.

Godfather, Caver and I are planning to come to the Gunstore next Wednesday. Me to do the renewal and Caver to do the whole shebang. If I decide to add the Utah permit, will I be in all day? VegasSMG said you do some of the classes yourself. Any chance you will be doing it this Wednesday?
Thanks again for your help. Anyone else want to join us?

I will be doing the Wednesday class on the 23rd. You can add the Utah with the renewal if you took your original class with us. But check with the instructor.

I told the guys you taught one or two Wednesday classes each month and they'd very much enjoy your style of teaching. To bad it didn't work out for them. Godfather; My child bride has filed her application with Metro and is patiently waiting for her Nevada CCW to be approved.
Now she'd like to apply for her Utah permit. Should she have received the required forms to apply for the Utah CCW when she took the class, or does she need to pick them up at the store, or find them online? She did get extra finger print cards at Metro specifically for this purpose when she applied for her Nevada permit. I know she'll need a couple of passport photos as well.
Thanks!

Thanks, will do.
On another subject... A guy I work with let his CCW lapse. Will he need to take the full class rather than the shorter renewal for his new CCW?

Thanks, will do. On another subject... A guy I work with let his CCW lapse. Will he need to take the full class rather than the shorter renewal for his new CCW? Depends on how long it's been expired. You can renew within 120 of expiration and still be considered a renewal which would be the abreviated class. Renewal fee to LVMPD is $65.25, but there is a $15 late fee if you let it lapse. More than 120 days, and you're stuck with taking the entire course and Metro will treat it as an initial application at the full pop price of $100.25. I'm glad to help if Tony isn't available. KG .

Thanks Kurt! That's good information to have.
Here's a couple of questions for you. My permit expires this November. How far in advance can I take the class and submit my renewal docs to the state?
Same question for my Utah permit which also expires this year.
