I talked to Glen at Bargain Pawn and he doesn't have a Trinity in stock. I drove out to Henderson to check out the Black Rifle Armory, and they're not at that location any more. Any idea where they are?

Martin moved three months ago into a very nice location at the corner of Warm Springs Road and Arroyo Grande. It's on the same corner as Green Valley High School in the small shopping center with the Dairy Queen.

Well, I went over to Black Rifle Armory today. Got there at 4.00pm. The sign on the door said, "Open 10.00am - 5.30pm". It also said "Closed". The same thing has happened to me on two other occasions with them at their old location. I went over there during normal business hours and they were closed. So, three strikes and they're out. I'll take my business, and my money, elsewhere.

As fate would have it, I was running a couple of errands with the Mrs. on Saturday afternoon and we decided to drop by BRA and do a bit of browsing. It was exactly 4:30PM and the doors were locked. My wife didn't understand why they closed an hour early.
I've heard about the early Saturday closings from others who've made the drive and we experienced it first hand over the weekend. We weren't put out as we're just a couple of miles up the road, but I'd be pissed if I made a trip across town and they had closed early.

I live at Decatur/Vegas Drive area, so it's a bit of a drive across the valley, and like I said, it's not the first time I'd made a wasted trip to BRA. I expect a certain level of service from retail businesses. If not, as I stated, I'll go elsewhere. It's the same reason I no longer frequent Bass Pro. Bad service, in my opinion. The last time I went there, I was in the gun department, and asked about a shooting mat. The sales assistant told me to check in the camping department. No clue about what I wanted. And again, I'd had past bad experiences there. And don't get me started about Manny's Music in NYC ......

This is the exact reason I stopped going to Machine Gun Kelly's. Even after he gave me the run around with my Uzi, I still liked to drop in from time to time. The last two times I went, it was over an hour after his posted opening time, and he was still closed. The last time, they actually saw me standing in the door and didn't even acknowledge I was there. That was about five years ago, and I've never been back since.
I'll put up with a lot of things from a retail establishment, but opening late or closing early will lose me as a customer.

Put this over on AR15 and watch it BLOW UP! Yeah huh?! The funny thing is I haven't sufferd the kind of mistreatment many of the posters claim when they start bagging an all the local gun shops. I an honestly say I've never had a problem with BRA except for last Saturday. The early closing surprised me but it wasn't that big of a deal due to us being out and about and our close proxcimity to the store. Still.... Understood! Service is what separates the good from the mediocre. I've suffered bad service at ASS PRO and will no longer frequent their store... no how, no way. Of course I'm with Caver on MGK. Kelly won't see another penny of my business due to gross mistreatment eight years ago. I guess every individual has their likes and dislikes and their own tales of woe and suffering.

I spend most of my local gun money at Bargain Pawn with Glen or Spurlocks in Henderson. I get good service at both places, and they are both knowledgable about firearms. Back to the original subject. I'm still researching the Trinity, but I'd also like some information on the SWR Trident 9 suppressor. The application is going to be for my 9mm M16, but I'm trying to stay away from the heavier, bigger full auto rated suppressors. Any pros or cons with either?

I think a LOT of Glenn! He's just "good people" any way you slice it. Have you looking at the reviews on silencer research? They seem unbiased and objective. www.silencerresearch.com/
